Mission
Our mission as assigned by the Sheriff is to provide effective and efficient law enforcement, detention, civil and court security services to the residents and visitors of Brazoria County. We aim to provide fair and impartial services, holistically through collaborative partnerships within our office, community and other law enforcement agencies to enhance the quality of life for those we serve.
Vision
The Brazoria County Sheriff's Office (BCSO) deputies and staff continually strive to be a premier law enforcement agency in the State of Texas. To accomplish this vision, we employ quality, highly-trained personnel and foster dynamic leaders throughout our agency who will achieve this vision through innovation, transparency and accountability to the residents of Brazoria County. BCSO will be the bridge between law enforcement, first responders and members of our community.

Direct Action Response Training

Dark Angel Medical Class

  • Date: 11/14/2026  (all day)
  • Location: Angleton Fire Field
    605 Kelley Blvd
    Angleton, Texas 77515
  • Introduction: DART fills the niche between military, SABA, and civilian MES training. This is geared to those with little to no medical training or background. It provides the student with critical of need-to-know information in a myriad of situations. Stresses the "you don't know what you don't know."

The location of the training will be at the Angleton Fire Field located at 605 Kelly Blvd Angleton, TX next to the BJ Peck Soccer Complex off of CR 44.

Nearest hotel accommodation will be La Quinta Inns and Suites by Wyndham located at 2400 W Mulberry St, Angleton, TX 77515. This is just south of the training facility.

For EMS this course is eligible for 16 CAPCE hours. For TCOLE it is 16 hours.
