BODY ARMOR, Primary duty pistol with at least 3 magazines, Sam Browne belt, eye and ear protection, and 300-500 rounds of pistol ammo.

 Instructor Biography

 Jennifer Schattle joined the Houston Police Department and served in Patrol from 2013 to 2016 before being assigned to the South Central Divisional Tactical Unit, where she served from 2016 to 2019. From 2018 to 2021, she was a part-time member of the HPD SWAT Team, successfully completing Basic SWAT School, Advanced SWAT School, and the Operator Training Course.

 Jennifer has been assigned to the Houston Police Academy as a Firearms Instructor since 2019, where she provides firearms instruction to both cadets and sworn officers. Since 2022, Jennifer has served as an instructor for the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association, teaching tactical and firearms-related courses. She has also presented at the Women in Law Enforcement Conference and has conducted firearms and tactical training for law enforcement agencies throughout Texas.
