New Hours for Brazosport Area Libraries Begin August 3
As we gear up for Fall and the new school year, the Clute and Freeport Libraries are adjusting their schedules to allow patrons greater access to library services.
The Clute Library will now be closed on Sunday and Monday and open from 10 am to 8 pm on Tuesday and Thursday and 10 am to 6 pm on Wednesday and Friday. The branch will be open on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
The Freeport Library will still be closed on Friday and Sunday and be open late on Monday and Wednesday from 10 am to 8 pm; and 10 am to 6 pm on Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday hours will remain 10 am to 5 pm.
“The new schedule means that patrons will now have increased access to a library open late Monday through Thursday in the Brazosport area.” said Lisa Loranc, Library Director of the Brazoria County Library System.
The Lake Jackson Library hours will remain unchanged. It is closed on Sundays; open 10 am to 8 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; 10 am to 6 pm Tuesday and Friday; and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
