About Constable Mike Fulton
A lifelong resident of Brazoria County's Precinct One, Mike represents five generations of deep local roots. Born in Angleton and raised in Richwood, Mike's connection to the community traces back to the 1930s when his great-grandparents settled in Freeport. His family’s legacy of public service influenced his journey, with his father, Max, working at DOW, his mother, Kaye and sister Traci Perry, retiring as a BISD teacher.
Mike began his law enforcement career after graduating from the Houston Community College Police Academy in 1993. He served as a patrol office for the city of Richwood, a Crime Scene Investigator with the Brazoria County Sheriff's Department and later led the Forensic Divisions for Missouri City and Stafford Police, as well the 2.4 million people in the city of Houston Texas.
In January 2021, Mike returned to Brazoria County as Chief Deputy for Precinct. 2 Constable’s Office. Earning the trust of his community, he was elected Constable of Precinct One, assuming office on January 1, 2025. He holds a Bachelors Criminal Justice degree from the University of Houston-Downtown and a Master’s in Forensic Science from Saint Leo University. Among his accolades are certifications as a Senior Crime Scene Analyst and a Federal Drone Pilot.
Mike and his wife, Suzy, reside in Lake Jackson with their twin daughters, Zoey and Kimber, and older daughter, Meghan. Mike remains deeply committed to community service, including board roles with various local organization such as the Brazoria County SPCA and Professional.
