Judge Chad D. Bradshaw
Judge Bradshaw was elected in November of 2022 and sworn in January 1, 2023 as the Presiding Judge of the 300th District Court in Brazoria County, Texas. The Court specializes in hearing Family cases (divorce, custody disputes, enforcement actions, cases filed by the Department of Family and Protective Services (CPS), and paternity actions) and Felony cases. Prior to being elected as the Presiding Judge of the Court, Judge Bradshaw served as the full time Associate Judge from March of 2013 until December of 2022.
Judge Bradshaw graduated from South Texas College of Law and was licensed to practice in the State of Texas in November of 1999. From that time, until March of 2013, he worked in private practice and handled primarily family and criminal cases. He is Board Certified in both Family Law and in Child Welfare Law. He is an active member of the Brazoria County Bar Association, the Brazoria County Family Bar Association and is a Board Member of the Gulf Cost Family Law Specialists.

Leigh Hughes Lehmann
Judge Lehmann is a lifelong resident of Brazoria County and a graduate of Texas A&M University and South Texas College of Law. She began her career as a prosecutor for the Brazoria County District Attorney’s Office, and then moved to a private firm. She started her sole practice in her hometown of Alvin in 2006, focusing primarily on family and criminal law. She is active in several local service and community organizations and is a member of the Brazoria County Bar Association, the Brazoria County Family Bar Association, and the Texas Aggie Bar Association.
