Our Mission

The office of Language Access is here to support meaningful language access for the parties and participants within our Courts. Our Interpreters are here to provide language assistance to individuals who have Limited English Proficiency (LEP) while they process matters in the Brazoria County Court System. Our goal is to offer interpretation and translation services at no cost to you--however be advised that assistance for criminal matters is prioritized over civil litigations for the use of inhouse interpreters. To guarantee interpretation for family/civil cases you may need to hire your own interpreter.

For assistance in making a request for an interpreter, please speak with your respective Coordinator. To schedule an interpreter, click on the "Make a Request" box below where you will find the information for the Office of Court Administration, the District Court Coordinators, and the County Court Coordinators. You must make your request to the court where your legal matters will be heard.
