Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee - LEPC Logo

The Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee is a state and federally recognized non-profit that is dedicated to ensuring the safety of each resident from Hazmat threats.  The Committee uses planning and public information to help reach the goal of an accident-free community. 

All local emergency response personnel are encouraged to attend along with representatives from County Industry and the public.

The next Brazoria County LEPC meeting is scheduled for 11AM on May 5, 2026 at the Manvel Police Dept, 6615 Masters, Manvel.  

The 2026 Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) meeting dates/locations are :

May 5, 2026 @ Lake Jackson Civic Center-Terrace 2,  333 TX-332, Lake Jackson                                                                      

Aug 4, 2026 @ Sweeny Community Center, 205 W. Ashley Wilson Rd, Sweeny                                                                       

Nov 3, 2026 @ Brazoria County Fire Field, 605 Kelly Blvd, Angleton

                                                          Requesting a Tier II Report

To request a submitted Tier II Report for a facility within the State of Texas submit an open records request by visiting  https://www.tceq.texas.gov/permitting/tier2/requesting-tier-ii-reports-and-records . 

A member of the public has a legal right to access a facility's existing workplace chemical list directly from the facility.
