The Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee is a state and federally recognized non-profit that is dedicated to ensuring the safety of each resident from Hazmat threats.  The Committee uses planning and public information to help reach the goal of an accident-free community. 

The 2025 Brazoria County Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) meeting dates are Feb 18,2025, May 20,2025(Cancelled due to event), Aug 19,2025, & Nov 18, 2025.  All local emergency response personnel are encouraged to attend along with representatives from County Industry and the public.  

The next Brazoria County LEPC meeting is scheduled for 1PM on November 18, 2025 at the Brazoria County Fairgrounds Auditorium, 901 S. Downing Rd, Angleton, Tx.
