Brazoria County is committed to affirmatively furthering fair housing choice throughout the County. Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 makes discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, familial status or handicap illegal in connection with the sale or rental of housing and any vacant land offered for residential construction or use. Brazoria County is committed to doing all in its power and legal authority to ensure that Title VIII is followed where housing is concerned.
