Brazoria County Crime Stoppers is a civilian, non-profit, 501c3 organization that is made up of volunteers from all over Brazoria County. It's a joint effort between the citizens, the media, and law enforcement in Brazoria County.
The program is funded by grants from TDCJ. Funding for the program also comes from county courts. The program receives 15% of all court fines when judges assign a fine as punishment for a crime that has been committed.

Tip information is collected and routed to a law enforcement agency. If the tip leads to an arrest or charges filed, a reward amount will be assigned. The board members will vote on the amount. When the tipster calls to check the status of the tip, he/she will be given the details of how to collect the reward.To check the status of a tip call 979-864-2279 Monday-Friday 8 am- 5 pm. You must have your code number or no information will be given.
