Commissioner Precinct 2
Commissioner Ryan Cade
Ryan Cade is a 4th generation resident of Brazoria County and the oldest of three children. Ryan attended Brazoswood High School before heading off to the University of Louisiana where he played football for the Rajun Cajuns and graduating with a General Business degree. He started his career as an insurance agent for State Farm Insurance and successfully grew that business here in Angleton for 16 years before opening a construction company where he was involved in several development projects around Brazoria County. Always the entrepreneur at heart, Ryan started his Wagyu ranching business in 2012 and R-C Ranch Craft Beef has been growing and evolving ever since. In 2014, Ryan felt a calling to become involved in local politics in an effort to give back to the community that had given him so much. He ran for and won his race for Brazoria County Commissioner for Precinct 2 that year, was re-elected in 2018 and again in 2022. Ryan carried that same drive and dedication that made him successful in business with him as he entered office as our Brazoria County Commissioner, where he is fully committed to ensuring the residents of Precinct 2 are well represented. He has drawn on the skills he developed as a small business owner in commercial construction planning, project management, regulatory and permitting issues, utilities, and finance, as well as, the day to day challenges of budgets, contracts and payrolls to help him make sound business decisions for the county. Ryan is committed to making prudent spending decisions and improving the efficiency of operations of our county government. He believes this will allow us the lowest possible tax rate for the property owners of Brazoria County while maintaining the quality of life we enjoy.
Ryan actively volunteers his time and is on the board of several local community outreach organizations. He and his wife, Kelli, have been married for over 20 years. They live in Bailey’s Prairie where they are introducing their three children, Reagan, Miller and Logan, to the ranching business.
